Clarence A. Singer, 88, of 1613 South 15th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 27, 1991 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 am at the Pfeffer Funeral home, 10 am at the St. Andrew Catholic Church. The Rev. James Stamborski presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born November 25, 1902 in Manitowoc, Wis., the son of the late John and Anna Ruppert Singer. He married the former Lillian Thornton on September 10, 1927 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Singer was employed at the Mirro Aluminum Co for 50 years until his retirement in 1967. Mr. Singer was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Manitowoc Eagles Aerie No. 706.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Singer of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, John and Nora Singer of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Margaret Singer of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Hastreiter of Waukesha, Wis., two sisters-in-law, Wilma Freund, Manitowoc, Eleanor Oldenburg, state of Washington, three grandsons, David, Steven and Michael; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survived. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Francis.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home form 5 until 9 pm Sunday evening. A prayer service will be held at 7:15 pm by Rev. Stamborski.
