Oliver Holland, who lived near Thornsberry camp ground, died last Friday after several weeks illness. Funeral services were conducted by J.W. Head. Quite a number from this place attended. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.

Rev. I. Rice and wife with Ollie Rice, Dick Mayfield and wife and Grandma Arthurs were called to Henry Holland's near Wager this last week on the occasion of the sickness and death of Oliver Holland. They have the sympathy of their friends and relatives in this community.

Oliver W. Holland, son of W.H. and Octavia Holland, was born in Benton Co., Ark. Dec. 20, 1880, converted Nov. 9, 1896 and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church, South at Thornsberry the 22nd day of the same month. He was baptized in infancy and brought up amid the wholesome influences of a Christian home. After an illness of six or seven weeks with typhoid fever , amid all the glory and promise of a Christian young manhood, we are quite sure he went to rest. -John W. Head.
