Mrs. Mary Steder, 86, of 629 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at her home of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Funeral arrangements will be announced Thursday by Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Steder, 86, of 629 S. 19th st., Manitowoc, who died Wednesday at home, will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The very Rev. Clement Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Steder, nee Mary Lax, was born Nov. 20, 1881, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Rumpf Lax, and married Edward J. Steder Nov. 21, 1899. The couple located at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1953. Mrs. Steder belonged to the Christian Mothers Altar Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray Woida of Manitowoc, and Mrs. George Mailand of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and two granddaughters. A daughter, a brother and sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home this Thursday evening where at 7 o’clock the Rosary will be recited by the CMA and parish.
