Kenneth Lee Caldwell moved from Kansas to be with his father who was living in California. Kenneth enlisted in the Navy on April 27, 1923. He served aboard the battleship, U.S.S. Mississippi. He was a member of a rowing team that were champions in the Hawaiian Waters and received a gold watch. He was discharged from the Navy on February 14, 1927. Kenneth worked in the oil fields on Signal Hill, Long Beach California. He later became a fireman for Los Angeles County and rose to the rank of engineer. Kenneth Caldwell was cremated and his ashes are in Columbarium of Comfort niche #1233.
