Albert Leon Cobb Sr., TAFT, Tenn. -- Albert Leon Cobb Sr., 63, of Route 2, Taft, died Monday in York, Ala. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Brister officiating.
Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens with Spry Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Cobb, a native of Madison County, Ala., was the founder of A.C. Electronics. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and the owner of Cobb Farms.
Survivors include his wife, Helen League Cobb; a daughter, Karen Cobb Evans; and a son, Albert L. Cobb Jr., both of Taft; his mother, Lena Cobb of Huntsville; seven brothers, James Cobb, Jessie Cobb and Warren Cobb, all of Harvest, Ala., Ed Cobb, Howard Cobb and Ben Cobb, all of Huntsville, Ala., and Boyd Cobb of Chattanooga; five sisters, Ruth Clutts, Georgia Nelms and Doris Coward, all of Harvest, Jean Smith of Louisville, Ky., and Louise Anne Wiatt of Byran, Texas; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home and Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the cradiac unit of Huntsville Hospital.
