(1884 - 1965)

Fred Tepoorten, 80, of 2804 Meadow Ln., Manitowoc, died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient 10 days.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Very Rev. Clement P. Kern will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Tepoorten was born Sept. 6, 1884, at Copper Harbor, Mich., son of the late John and Susan Braun Tepoorten. He came to Manitowoc as a child with his parents and until retiring 10 years ago had been employed by the Cemetery and Parks Dept. of the City of Manitowoc. He never married.

Surviving are two brothers, John and Joseph, and a sister, Miss Susan Tepoorten, of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
