Mrs. Evelyn Tompkins, 52, of 802 W. Elsie St., Appleton, former Manitowoc resident, died Wednesday at Milwaukee County Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Silver Lake. The Rev. Ronald Kirk, O. Praem, will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Tompkins, nee Reiser, was born June 8, 1916, at St. Cloud, Wis., daughter of William J. and the late Frances Becker Reiser. She was married to Harold Tompkins Feb. 21, 1933, at St. Nazianz. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Appleton, Christian Mothers Altar Society, Third Order of St. Francis and St. Martin Mission Club.

Survivors include the husband, three sons, Melvin of West Bend, Leon of Circero, Ill., and Wayne of Marietta, Ga.; five daughters, Mrs. James (Berdetta) Nachtigal of Cleveland, O., Mrs. John (Shirley) Kunish of Lakewood, N.J., Miss Jeanette of Hawaii, Sister M. Rosetta of Topawa, Ariz., and Miss Rosalie at home; two sisters, Mrs. William Bonlander of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, and Mrs. James Weisfeld of Sheboygan; a brother, Paul of Manitowoc; and six grandchildren. A daughter preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
