Norbert F. Tuschel, age 82, a lifelong Manitowoc resident, died Thursday evening, March 13, 1997, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 17, 1997, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Roman Zbieranski O.F.M. with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.

He was born July 6, 1914, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Frank and Ida Gintner Tuschl. In 1938 he married the former Margaret Hendricks in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1948. He then married Marge Martin in 1952 and she preceded him in death in 1966. Norbert was employed with the City of Manitowoc for many years retiring in 1979. He was a member of the Clarks Mills Sportsman Club.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sharon Tuschl, Green Bay; a granddaughter, Terri and her fiancé Sven, Green Bay; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Frank (Bud) Tuschl, Manitowoc, Robert and Marion Tuschl, Manitowoc, Jerry and Annette Tuschl, Cato; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie Helgeson, Manitowoc, Frances and Carl Wickesburg, Seymour, Pat and Norbert Ahl, Clarks Mills; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Tuschl, Manitowoc, Eleanore Kleman, Manitowoc; a brother-in-law, Bill Bredesen, Florida; a special friend, Leona Puetz, Kiel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gordon, and two sisters, Betty Bredesen and Dorothy Severson.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.
