Lyle A. Beguhn, age 86, of Menomonie, WI passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006, at Dunn County Health Care Center in Menomonie.

Lyle was born on June 25, 1920 in Menomonie, WI to Alfred and Edna (Grundman) Beguhn.

He married Marjorie Eckert on July 2, 1941 in Menomonie. She passed away on March 17, 1987.

He later married Betty (Bingham) Eckert on May 18, 1991 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Menomonie.

Lyle owned and operated Beguhn Feed Mill for 53 years. He was involved in 4-H and was a meat animal supporter for years. He loved to take his friends to Turtle Lake for a fun time and enjoyed giving small children candy when they came to the feed store with mom and dad. He was the #1 fan of MHS football and never missed a game. Lyle was also involved with a dartball team and softball team. Lyle always put everyone before himself. He loved opening and ushering for the church on Sundays.

His wife, Betty Beguhn
His children; Tom Beguhn (special friend Paula), Jerry (Barb)Beguhn of Rice Lake, and Richard (Cheryl)Beguhn
His stepchildren; Sue (Al) Vasey, Dan (Julie) Eckert, Jeff (Sandy) Eckert, and Randy (Tami) Eckert.
His grandchildren; Laurie (Russell), Angie (Mark), Ryan, Andrea, Ryan (Mary), Steve, and Sara.
Step Grandchildren; Jody, Jenny, Jason, Joel, Jeremy, Ginger, Jessie, Amber, Dustin, Bobbi, and Josh.
Great Grandchildren; Josh, Cory, Breana, Dominick, and Jocelyn.
He is also survived by other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie; and a sister, Helen Amick.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Monday August 21, 2006 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Menomonie with Rev. Steve Schmeling officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome at Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie on Sunday, August 20, 2006, from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Monday.
