PALM HARBOR, FLA. _ Howard R. Andrews, 83, of Palm Harbor, formerly of Kanawha County, W.Va., died May 6, 1989, in Clearwater after a short illness.
He was a retired engineer for American Electric Co., N.Y., and was superintendent of the Cabin Creek, W.Va., plant.
He attended New River State College and was a graduate of West Virginia University.
He was a member of Chelyan (W.Va.) United Methodist Church. He was a Mason. He was a 19-year resident of Florida.
Surviving: wife, Juanita Armstrong Andrews; son, Raymond of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sister, Erma Calvert Surface of Charleston, W. Va.; one grandchild.
Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. David Dubois officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston, W.Va.
