LaVerne M. Weber, 1225 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning, May 14, 1992, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 1992, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church. The Rev. Roman Zbieranski officiating, with burial to follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
She was born LaVerne Margaret Augustine on July 21, 1926 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Susan Andres Augustine. A lifelong Manitowoc resident, she attended Manitowoc schools and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, with the class of 1945. She was married to Robert Weber on October 5, 1946, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on August 2, 1967. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Parish.
Survivors include two sons, Mark and Gary Weber, both of Manitowoc; a brother Raymond Augustine of Manitowoc; six sisters and two brothers-in-law, Hildegard Johnsrud, Arlene and Arnold Krumrey, all of Manitowoc, Lorretta Horn of Charlevoix, Mich., Bernice Rosso of Newton, Geraldine Becker of Peru, N.Y., Edna and Steve Doperalski, of Menomonee Falls, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday, at which time there will be a prayer service by Father Roman Zbieranski, which will conclude the visitation.
