LYNCH, Betty Jane 82 Years of Life Betty Jane Stansbury Lynch was born to Herman C. and Edna A. (Liddle) Stansbury on January 21, 1931, in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Deer Park High School with Class of 1949 where her picture now hangs in the Deer Park City Hall. Betty married her soul mate, Jesse G. "Junior" Lynch, Jr. in 1949 at the Coeur d'Alene Hitching Post which lasted nearly 60 years. Their home was always open to family and friends. Betty had several jobs in the area including Phillip's Department Store, Grants, the "egg ranch", and being a dental assistant. She was well known for a sense of humor and her famous peanut brittle which was passed on to whoever wanted to learn. Much of her married life was spent camping, with later years enjoying life as snowbirds finally settling back down in Deer Park. Betty was preceded in death by her brothers Jack and Dan, and her dear husband, Jess. She passed away at her home on September 23, 2013, while being attended to by her sons and family. Betty is survived by her sister Shirley (John) Hobbs, sons Jay (Wanda), Kim (Jeannie), and Ted (Misty). She enjoyed four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be put to rest with her husband Jesse at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake, Washington. We can honor Betty and Jesse by living to the standards they taught us through life. Betty's family thanks Horizon Hospice for helping in her transition from this life into the eternal.
