Manuel Zierhut, on this day, September 19, 1989, the Lord has sent His Angels to lead our husband, father and grandfather, Manuel Ralph Zierhut, 80, to Heaven to share His everlasting light. Manuel died at Holy Family Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 10 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, at which time a prayer service and eulogy will be said in Manuel’s memory, Rev. Harold Berryman presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Manuel was born September 11, 1909 at Preble, Wisconsin, son of the late Wilhelmena Statler Zierhut and Mathias Zierhut. He married Florence Walenski, February 17, 1940.
Survivors include his wife, Florence of Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Mary Zierhut of Manitowoc; a daughter, Chris Anderson of Manitowoc; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Elizabeth Zierhut of Milwaukee. Manuel is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tom, Jeff, Tammy, Jodi, Krista, Cindi and her husband Allan, Kim and her husband, Gary, who he has held close to his heart and loved dearly. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Manuel was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Zucchi, December 20, 1987, his parents, two sisters and seven brothers.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 pm to 9 pm Thursday
Those we love must someday pass beyond our present sight…. Manuel, dad, grandpa, must leave us and the world we know without his radiant light. But we know that like a candle his lovely light will shine to brighten up another peace, more perfect, more divine. And in the realm of Heaven where he will shine so warm and bright, he will live forevermore in God’s eternal light.
