In the 1930 Census, Beecher is listed as "Bucky" Miller and working at North Side Barber in Van Alstyne. His wife is listed as "Shopkeeper" at Walter-Barron's Dry Good's Store.
From about 1931-1938, Beecher and Eva moved to Oklahoma City. I assume they kept their original careers. In the 1940 Census Beech is listed as a barber living in Denison, Texas, working for a man named, Luther Stapleton.
He then signed up for the draft in WWII and was about to be shipped out when the war ended. His Great Niece, Melba Hansard, remembers him to being friendly and always giving her a nickle when she visited him as a kid.
Another Great Niece, recalls that Beecher owned a pet chihuahua, drank Bay Rum at the barbershop all day and liked to tell, "tall tales."
Beech died from a brain hemorrhage caused by, chronic heart failure and is buried at Cedarlawn Cemetery in, Sherman, Texas.
