Rob L. Barney July 21, 1948-- Jan. 2, 1994Rob L. Barney, 4088 U.S. Highway 50, Whitewater, died of natural causes Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital. He was 45. Private family services will be at a later date. Mr. Barney was a professional injection-molder of plastic parts. He was a resident of Grand Junction for two years. He was born July 21, 1948, to William R. and Darlene Barnes Barney in Salt Lake City. He spent his childhood in Midvale, Utah, where he graduated from Hillcrest High School. He was divorced Mr. Barney lived in Midvale and Grand Junction before moving to Whitewater. He was a Lutheran. Mr. Barney enjoyed black-powder guns, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his mother. Darlene Landers of St George, Utah; two sons, Steven Barney and David Barney, both of Utah; a daughter, Camie Barney of Utah; two brothers. Robert Barney of Grand Junction, and Rick Barney of Las Vegas, Nev.; three sisters, Patti Sayegh of Las Vegas, Nev. Jan Galbraith of Corinne, Utah, and Gail Barney of American Fork, Utah; his stepfather, Richard Landers of St. George; and his stepmother, Della Barney of Brigham City, Utah. Callahan-Edfast Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Published in The Daily Sentinel.
