OBITUARY: Marion Isabel Slater of Woodstock passed away at Carleton Manor on Sunday, October 3, 2004, at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband Brad Orser; one son John (Ed) and his wife (Donna Davidson) Slater of Houlton, Maine; two daughters, Janice Benson and her husband Gerald of Belleisle Creek, NB; Anne Brown and her husband Derrick of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Ruth Troughton and her husband Kevin of At.Catherins, Ont; one brother, Douglas Anderson and his wife Mary of Kelowna, BC; five grandchildren, Patrick; William and Andrew Benson; Sarah and Rachel Brown; several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her husband John Doughas Slater on October 17, 1985. Resting at The Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm . Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm from Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Fred Snyder will be officiating, with interment in the McKenzie Corner Cemetery. [www.scottfh.com]
