STEM — Margaret Pratt Lathan, 92, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at her home in Stem, N.C.

A native of Anson County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John and Rosa Moore Pratt, a member of Community United Methodist Church in Butner and a retired Registered Nurse of Murdoch Center.

Graveside Services will be conducted Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor by Rev. Jessie Larkins.

Surviving are two daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Lathan of Charlotte, Susan Jackson (Jerry) of Stem; a sister, Ernestine Ratliff of Anson County; two grandchildren, Wayne Jackson (Kim), Stacey Honeycutt (Bryan), both of Oxford; a great granddaughter, Krystal Parrish; and two great grandsons, Daniel and Thomas Honeycutt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Daniel Earl Lathan; a sister, Eva Riccio; and two brothers, Carroll and John Pratt.

Visitation will be held at her home in Stem, N.C.
