Gwendolyn Ursula Adams, 80, died on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at the Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold and her brother, William Packer. Her survivors include her son, Rick Adams, MI; her daughters, Debra Taylor and her husband Donald, Port Orange, FL, Cheryl Malone and her husband Ray, VA and Vicki O’Conner and her husband Thomas, Crystal Beach, FL; her ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was born May 11, 1935 in Rome, Georgia to the late Melvin and Nellie Mae (Woods) Packer. Gwendolyn was raised in Michigan and eventually moved to Florida in 1994. She retired with Ford Motor Company in Michigan as a sewing machine operator. Gwendolyn was a member of the Rainbow Rivers Club in Dunnellon. She was an artist and sewer, but most important she was a loving mother , grandmother and friend to many. We Love You and We will Miss You dearly.

Funeral Services celebrating Gwendolyn’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM with a public viewing held a noon until service time at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will Follow at Dunnellon Memorial Gardens next to her husband Harold.

The Family prefers in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hospice: P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
