Samuel Edward Taylor was the son of Henry Taylor (1802-1857, South Salem Cemetery, Ross, Ohio) & Henry's 2nd wife, Eleanor "Ellen" Irwin Taylor (1815-1891). Samuel became a grocer, then a salesman & traveling salesman. He married his 1st wife, Carrie Susan Duncan (1861-1924) in 1886, & they raised one son was John Duncan Taylor (1887-1984). A few years after Carrie's death, Samuel moved to Los Angeles, California , met & married a 2nd wife, Lola Smith where they lived until her passing and his several years later. Lola is buried beside him.
