Winona A. Boyer, 82, of Paw Paw, Mich., formerly of Crescent City, was called to her eternal heavenly rest Thursday (Dec. 2, 2004) at Lakeview Medical Center in Paw Paw.
The Revs. James Ritter, Curt Boyer, Karl Koeppen, Dennis Thompson and H. Christopher Sheets will officiate.
Interment will be at the church cemetery.
She was born Jan. 5, 1922, in Woodworth, the daughter of Ferdinand and Elouise Hurling Sorenson.
Her husband, Delbert Boyer, whom she married Dec. 26, 1941, entered eternal life Dec. 4, 1984.
Surviving are two sons, Dennis (Ruth) Boyer of Crescent City, Rev. Curt Boyer of Kankakee; one daughter, Lisa Boyer of Paw Paw. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Cheryl Boyer Rogers (Mark) and Amy Boyer of Bourbonnais. Two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Rebecca Rogers also survive.
One son, Larry, was called to eternal life Feb. 25, 1997. One sister, Wanda Sorenson Pfingsten Munsterman and one brother, Orville Sorenson survive. One brother Edward Sorenson and twin sisters, Violet Sorenson and Viola Sorenson have also passed to eternity.
Winona had a love for life and a smile for everyone. She had a gift for baking, especially breads and coffee cake. She was loved by all, her family, friends and her pets.
