Loving Mother, Daughter, Sister and Wife: Charlotte Kay Hardy, of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on Sept. 30, 2013, in her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Oct. 3, 1962, in Danville, Illinois, to Mary Ellen (Becker) and Daniel Gocken, who both survive her. She married her loving husband Darryl Gerrod Hardy on Nov. 10, 2012. She lived most of her adult life in Lewisville and worked throughout her life as a travel agent with Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Charlotte is survived by her husband; one daughter and three sons; a sister and a brother; 2 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty and John Becker, and Lolita and Wilbur Gocken. Everyone who came in contact with Charlotte loved her like they had known her for years and she had countless friends all over the world. Charlotte had a courageous spirit like none other and will be remembered forever by all that knew her.
