William F Rabine was born Oct 15, 1910, at Dexter and died Oct. 25, 1946, in St. Olaf hospital, Austin, at the age of 36 years 10 days.

William was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rabine of Dexter. He was married to Elna Rubin of Elkton Aug. 19, 1931 at Huron, S.D. He attended school at Elkton and spent most of his life in and near Dexter and Elkton with the eception of a few years when he worked for Cook's Construction C. and the Seeger Refrigerator C. of St. Paul. He return to Elkton for farming in 1943, when his father's health failed.

On Feb. 1, 1946, he purchased a dairy store in St. Paul, but because of his own failing health, sold out and moved back to Elkton on Aug. 24, 1946, to make his home.

His death followed a 12-day illness. He was stricken with a serious heart attack, Oct 13, 1946, when he entered St. Olaf hospital, during which time he was seldom concious of his loved ones arounf him. He was a member of the Methodist church of Dexter since early 1945.

Mr. Rabine is survived by his widow, two sons and two daughters, WIlliam F Rabine, Jr., Inez Christine, Arlene Alice and Bruce Allen, his mother and father of Dexter, a sister, Mrs. Leona DeSart and three brothers, Lloyd of Elkton, Donald and Arthur of St. Paul.

Funeral services were held at Dexter Methodist church Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. Rev. F. L. DeCourcy officiating and burial was in Dexter cemetery.
