William D. Alestock of Kenmore passed away March 12, 2004 after a long illness. He was 78 years old.

William was born March 7, 1926 in Mt. Clare, WV. He was a long time resident of Akron. In 1944, William left high school to serve as a rifleman in the US Army during WWII. He proudly received his high school diploma in 2001.

William was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Irene; daughters, Judy (Lon) Myers, Kathy (Don) Brown; son, John (Bev) Alestock; sisters, Francina Col lins, Nana Adams; grandchil dren, Terry (Tom) Cook, Jeff, Paul and Scott Myers, Ryan and Alyssa brown, Connie and Rob Alestock; great-grandchildren, Greg, Todd and Michelle Cook, Alan Myers, Brian and Benjamin Alestock ; many nieces, nephews and his faithful dog Princess.
