EDGERTON - John A. Anderson, 69, of 17 Blanchard, died this morning in Edgerton Hospital after an illness.
Born July 21, 1910, in Dane County, he married Myra Arnold in Janesville. An Edgerton High School graduate, he was a self-employed cabinetmaker for many years.
Anderson was a member of Central Lutheran Church, Rock County Historical Society, Midwest Tool Collectors Association, National Antique Tool Collectors Association, National Rifle Association and a former member of the Knights of Pythias.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Charles of Edgerton; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald Thronson of Edgerton; three grandchildren; two brothers, Burns of Edgerton and Blaine of Mattawa, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. Marian Campbell of Richland, Wash., and Mrs. Agnes Beecher of Janesville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Central Lutheran Church with burial in Milton Lawns Memorial Park, Janesville. Friends may call Thursday from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to Central Lutheran Church. Arrangements were completed by the Nygaard Funeral Home.
