Mary Elizabeth Picchietti was born on January 26th, 1926 to Enea and Elizabeth (Murphy) Picchietti in Highland Park Illinois. Mary graduated from Highland Park High school in 1944. After high school Mary attended Barat College in Lake Forest Illinois where she graduated with a degree in Teaching. Mary then attended Roosevelt University where she received her Masters in Teaching in 1969. Mary was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a member of the Honorary Teachers Organization. Mary was a Life Member of Lake County Retired Teachers association; she was a member of the Illinois and The National Education associations. She passed away October 2, 2013, at Lakeland Medical Center. Many nieces and nephews on both the Boilini and the Picchietti sides of the family survive Mary. Mass of Christian burial October 7th, 2013 at St Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva, WI: Father Jim Scheurman presiding. Burial October 8th, 2013 at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville, Illinois. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family has asked that you make a donation in Mary's name to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Lake Geneva. Derrick Funeral Home in Lake Geneva, WI.
