Marvel Gaither passed away Monday, May, 22, 2000 in Carmichael, Ca. She was born Jan. 15, 1912 in Kansas City, Mo. and married her beloved husband, Sam Gaither, in June of 1937. She was a resident of Dunsmuir, Ca., for ten years before coming to Roseville, Ca. in 1955. Marvel was a homemaker who devoted her life to her cherished family, including her three children; Terry Gaither of Wolcottville, Id., Grant Gaither of Reno, Nv., and Linda Hayes of Sacramento, Ca. Her six grandchildren, Bryon and Clifton Gaither of Courdelane, Id. Rachel and Jeff Gaither of Pueblo, Co. and Dwayne and James Hayes of Sacramento, Ca. Also her sister Audrey Wilhelm of Fort Beloit, Va. Marvel was very active in numerous social and community clubs, including Roseville Women's Republican Club for over fifteen years. Friends and family are invited to attend an evening visitation Thursday, May, 25, from 6-8 PM at Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses in Roseville and graveside services will be Friday, May 26, 12:00 Noon at Sierra Hills Cemetery in Sacramento.
