Funeral services for Jenette Marie Scalzi, 76, of Vinemont will be held on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; Rev. Trueman Davis officiating; with interment in Hopewell cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Scalzi was born in Cullman on January 12, 1937 to Cecil Coyt & Iva Jane Alexander Meadows.
She is survived by her husband, John Scalzi of Vinemont; two daughters, Diane Marie (Starlin) Craighead of Michigan and Sandra Jane (David) Townsend of Hanceville; three grandchildren: Jacob Craighead, Emily Rudd, and Jordan Craighead; two great grandchildren, Julia and James Craighead; and two brothers, Charles Wayne and Jon Gary Meadows.
The pall bearers will be: David Townsend, Starlin Craighead, Jacob Craighead, Jordan Craighead, Scott Krogh and Eddy Sparkman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association at 1 Billy Graham Parkway Charlotte NC. 28201.
