He is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law; one daughter and son-in-law; two sisters; six grandchildren and their spouses; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Earl Ethridge and Donnie Wayne Ethridge; a sister, Mary Lou Cobb; two nephews, Jeff Ethridge and Herman Epley; and an infant daughter, Jo Beth Ethridge.
