Funeral services for William Houx, who died June 19 at Hot Lake sanatorium, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. from the Methodist church, with interment in the Cove cemetery. Mr. Houx was born August 26, 1881, at Gordon, Tex. When a boy he came to Cove, which has since been his home with the exception of a few years at Walla Walla, Wash. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Florence Houx, five children, Vera, Veda, LaVerne, Leonard and Howard; two sisters, Mrs. B. F. Bell of Cove, and Mrs. J. A. White of Los Angeles, Cal.; two brothers, I. E. Houx of Tacoma, Wash., and Fred Houx of La Grande.
