Clara L. Miner, 86, formerly of the Ferry Road in Saco, died Saturday at the Renaissance Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Caribou, a daughter of Thomas and Irene McIntosh Walton. She graduated from Cony High School in Augusta.
Mrs. Miner was a housewife and a mother. She and her husband moved to Biddeford in 1945 from Hallowell, and then moved to Saco in 1947.
Her husband, Raymond, died in 1989.
She is survived by a son, Ramon Miner of Glen Burnie, Md.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Augusta. (Maine Sunday telegram Feb 9, 1997)
