Mr. Altman was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea and was retired from Lockheed with 39 years of service. He was a member of the Atlanta Lawn Tennis Association, ALTA, and was Number Five in his age group in Georgia. He played tennis as late as last week. Mr. Altman was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mary K. Altman; daughters Marla (Jon) Johanson, Donna (Scott) Brown; grandchildren Sonya Blomgren, Sandra Royer, Alisha Palmer, Chandler Brown, Maryanna Brown; and nine great grandchildren.
