John was the son of Archie & Lucille; a third generation Texan. He retired from the WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC Corp. after a long career as a specialist in balancing of turbo-machinery. John's father Archie was also an employee of WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC Corp. and active in the power generation industry. John died suddenly from the affects of cancer shortly after his retirement. John was named after his grandfather and carried on the tradition with his own son. John was married twice. First to Lauralynn then to Dorothy. He had a final "say" as noted on his grave marker [see photo]. Like his father, he was carried to his grave by six of his peers, from the industry he served in life.
