Dr. John Donelson Blyth, age 85 died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Carlisle Nursing Facility in Due West, SC. Born, August 17, 1922 in Collinsville, Illinois, he was the son of the late John and Matilda Donelson Blyth. He was a pianist and a university professor. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Surviving are his wife, Helen Margaret Pruett Blyth; his daughter, Lynn Weatherman of Due West; his grandson, David Weatherman of Memphis, TN; and his granddaughter, Andrea Weatherman of Winston-Salem, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David Walter Blyth. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 4:00 pm at Due West ARP Church with the Reverend Calvin Draffin officiating.
