ALICE RUGOWSKI
(1917 - 1987)

Alice Wegrowski, 69, of 505 Huron St., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, April 17, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be Monday, April 20, 9:30 am at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Alice was born April 27, 1917 at New Holstein, daughter of the late Benjamin and Olive Ahl Bennin. She married Sigward Rugowski on November 26, 1936 and he preceded her in death on December 1, 1971. Sigward and Alice Rugowski were owners and operators of S.E. Rugowski Greenhouse of So. 10th Street, Manitowoc. Alice was employed at Park Lawn Home for 12 years until her retirement. She married Felix Wegrowski on July 14, 1978 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband, Felix; four sons and two daughters-in-law, John and Rosalyn of Manitowoc; James of Neenah; Jerry of New Holstein and Joseph and Maureen of Knoxville, Tennessee; a brother, William Bennin of Spring Valley, Wisconsin; two sisters, Adeline Bombinski of Belin, Wisconsin and Marion Born of Cleveland; two half brothers, Robert and Rosalie Dunn of Sheboygan and Bernard and Betty Dunn of Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hattie Bjorkman of Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Mary Bennin of Manitowoc; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; a special niece, Patricia Boll of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 pm to 9 pm Sunday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm by Deacon Robert Drobka.
