Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time Monday at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Audrey Thibodeaux Breaux; daughters, Arlene Bonvillain and husband, Ryan Bonvillain, and Amy Boudreaux and husband, T.J. Boudreaux; grandchildren, Lexie and Reid Bonvillain and Spencer and Brody Boudreaux; sisters, Mildred Sevin, Rosalie and husband, Allen "Cou" Frederick, and Mathilde and husband, Clyde Hebert; brother, Leonard and wife, Melissa Breaux; sister-in-law, Sandra "Cindy" Breaux; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Irene Breaux; brother, Ivy Breaux; brothers-in-law, Joe Sevin Jr. and Donald Thibodeaux; and sisters-in-law, Lou Ann Kibodeaux and Jane LeBlanc.
He enjoyed working in his garden and visiting family and friends. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Linda Hanzy and Journey Hospice and all of their staff.
