Albert Branstetter
Albert Eli Branstetter, 81 of Crossville, Tn., died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at this residence.
He was born on November 21, 1917, in Adair County, Ky., the son of Roy Thomas and Viora England Branstetter. He was a retired machinist at Reliance Electric and retired Pentecostal minister.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Gail Judge Hortonberry and Stheila Marie Sargent, both of Madison, and Patricia Diane Adams of Milton, Ky.; three sons, James A. Branstetter and Kenneth Lee Branstetter, both of Madison, and Ricky Thomas Branstetter of Hanover; two stepdaughters, Marilyn Wesley of Center, Ky., and Betty Joyce Robertson of Danville, Ky.; one stepson, Hilton Jeffries of Pykeville, Tenn.; three sisters, Gladys Free of Darlington, Edna Mae Jesse of Franklin and Mary Alice Livermore of Jeffersonville; four brothers, Elroy Branstetter of New Albany, Pete Branstetter of Indianapolis, Robert Branstetter of New Washington and Fred Branstetter of Jeffersonville; 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; several step-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mary Agnes Branstetter; his second wife, Cynthia Branstetter; one brother, Curt Branstetter, one sister, Ruby Overfelt; one stepson, Gordon Jeffries; one grandson and one granddaughter.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lytle-Gans-Andrew funeral Home, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Jefferson County Heart Association.
