ARDMORE NEWS - Funeral services for Mrs. Frankie Hargrave Scott [sic - Sarah Fancis "Frankie" Hargrove Scott", 87, were held at the Piney Grove Baptist Church last week with Rev. George Willinghan officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin cemetery.
Mrs. Scott had been blind and a wheel chair invalid for several years, but was always cheerful. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Bailey and Mrs. Mabel Hodges, Decatur, and Miss Lorene Scott, Ardmore; four sons, Edgar of Florence, Howard of Decatur and Odie and Wilburn Scott, Ardmore; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
