He was born Nov. 17, 1877 on Buck Hill, Town of Western, son of Gustavus and Alice Weed Blasier.
He had always lived in Western and was the village barber in Northwestern for over 30 years. At the same time he operated a general store there.
He leaves his wife, the former Mrs. Retta Aucutt Keese whom he married Dec. 7, 1920 in Rome; a stepson, Roy H. Keese, Northwestern and three step grandchildren.
Burial will be in Carmichael Hill Cemetery. Utica Daily Press, Friday, August 5, 1955
