91 years old, of Rio Verde passed away on October, 5, 2013. He was born on July 1, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY to Julia (Keegan) and James Bayne. He proudly served his country in WWII in the South West Pacific Theatre, New Guinea, and South Philippines (Liberation) for 27 months. Before retiring he was a Retail Manager in New Jersey. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elizabeth, three sisters; Julia Chamberlain, Anne Jones, and Doris Bayne, three children; Edwin W. Bayne, Lawrence Bayne and his wife Ann (McDermott) and Johanne (Bayne) Muller and her husband Henry. He was also blessed with 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, 12065 Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday, October 9th followed by celebration of Jim's life at12 Noon at St. Dominic's Chapel, Rio Verde with full military honors at 2 PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
