Adella Bober, 83 of Washington, died Saturday, March 6, 2010, in Washington Hosptial.

She was born October 22, 1926, in Avella, a daughter of John and Emily Jamerone Cheze.

Mrs. Bober attended St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Polish Club, and enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, crocheting, bowling, bingo, and spending time at the Meadows.

Mrs. Bober worked as a packer/selector at Brockway Glass for six years.

On February 13, 1949, she married John M. Bober, who died May 23, 1994.

Surviving are two sons, Daniel Bober and John A. Bober, both of Washington; a daughter, Donna (Earl G.) Wilson, of Washington; a sister, Phyllis Capo, of Washington; four grandchildren, Scott, Jerry, Rachael and Maggie; six great grandchildren, Verena, Scotty, Olivia, Samantha, Madison, and Camryn.

Deceased are a son, Karl Bober; two brothers, Dominic and John; and a sister, Genevieve.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.

Her parents are buried under the last name Cheese. They were born in Russia, but spoke Polish. Another possible spelling is Czyz.
