(1873 - 1951)

Stanley Bonin, 77, of 1025 South 22nd street, Manitowoc, a lifelong resident of Manitowoc, died early Wednesday at Holy Family hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Bonin was born in 1873 in Manitowoc. In 1904 he married the former Nettie Duzik. A truck driver for 50 years, he was a member of St. Stanislaus-Kostka.

Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Leschke funeral home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church, Manitowoc, Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery.

He is survived by his wife; son, Bruno, of Manitowoc; daughter, Mrs. Joseph Miller of Manitowoc; two brothers, Joseph of Athens, Wis., and Anton of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. John Pekarski and Miss Anna Bonin, both of Manitowoc, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 18 until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday.
