Martha M. Bonk, 92, formerly of 914 S. 23rd Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday night, February 2, 1991, at Shady Lane Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Roman Zbieranski, O.F.M. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial and burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Martha Mary Pokorski on June 14, 1898, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Sepnafski Pokorski. She married Louis Bonk on November 20, 1920, at St. Casimir Catholic Church, Northeim. He preceded her in death October 9, 1962. Mrs. Bonk was a member of St. Mary Rosary Society, VFW Auxiliary and the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leonard and Joanne Bonk of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Adeline and George Wagner of Manitowoc, Grace and Earl Kelliher of Manitowoc; a sister, Anna Burish of Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Prayer Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. by Father Roman.
