On Dec. 19, 1939, he was married to Kate Weaver, who survives. Also surviving are one son, one daughter, one grandchild, 7 brothers and 6 sisters. He was a member of the Fairview Church, where funeral services were held Dec. 19, in charge of Harvey Handrich.
