Daisy was one of seven sisters, who were close all their lives. Many of them moved to Tulsa in the '20s and '30s, married, raised families of their own. Daisy and her husband "Duck" built a house on 24th St, near Utica Square, around 1937, and lived there the rest of their lives. They had one child, Thomas William, late in life, and he was the apple of their eye. In her later years as a widow, Daisy was very active socially, spending time with her sisters, her bridge club, and various other groups. She travelled "around the world" with a group of similar women, and had many souveneirs around her house, along with her collection of ducks. She was a funny, stubborn, refined woman who enjoyed her life. Her house was an oasis of calm and stability. I miss her still.
