She was the daughter of Joseph and Birdie Wells.She was born on Hell's Point in Elk Valley,Tn. Her first marriage was to James M.Lee.They were married on Dec.23,1950.They had six children together,Patricia Ann,Barbara Jean,Jessie James,Betty Joe,Linda Joyce and James M.Lee Jr.They were divorced May 19,1963.She married Barton B.Bowman next. They had one son,Barton B.Bowman(B.J.).She was my precious Mom.She was a fantastic southern cook.She made the best biscuits in the whole world.There wasn't much that Mom could not do.She was so creative.She loved to quilt,crochet,decorate and embroider.Mom loved flowers and always put out a vegetable garden.She Loved her children very much.She was a force to be reckoned with when she was mad,especially when it came to protecting her children.We Loved her dearly.
