North Western, Jan. 12. — Sylvester Eychner, aged over 60, died on Monday after an illness of about nine years of paralysis. Mr. Eychner was a lifelong resident of this vicinity and was highly respected by his acquaintances.
He leaves besides his wife, one son, Willard of Western, four daughters, Mrs. Ellsworth Smith, Misses Lizzie and Mary of Western, and Mrs. Melvin J. Smith of Ridge Mills; one brother, Edward of Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. W. H. (Sarah S.) Budlong and Mrs. A. C. Lewis of Steuben. The funeral was attended from the Carmichael Hill M. E.
