Marjorie L. Stark, 93, of Pana, died Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Heritage Health-Pana. She was born November 19, 1921 in Danville, the daughter of Oscar & Grace Williams Brooks, preceded.
Marjorie graduated from Georgetown High School in Georgetown, IL, and came to Pana from Georgetown in 1947. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pana; served on the board of directors for the Christian County Housing Authority; served on the Pana Community Hospital Auxiliary and worked in the hospital gift shop for many years. She had worked as a secretary at Satterfield Glass, but had also worked in Sydney DeWeerd's accounting office in Pana.
Marjorie Brooks and Delbert Stark on were married on November 22, 1939 in Covington, IN. He preceded her on September 27, 1993.
She is survived by her children: Linda Gunnigle & husband Tom, Atlanta, GA; Gregory Stark & wife Nannette, Covington, IN; and Todd Stark & wife Jodi, Pana, IL; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She was also preceded by 1 granddaughter; sisters: Iva Brooks, "Kickie" Dixon, and Rita Prater; and brother, Dalton Brooks.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 25, 2015 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
