She later remarried to Joseph Seegmueller, and they lived in Chicago, Illinois. In 1930, they stated on the census that they had been married about 3 years, which puts Rosa's second marriage at about 1927. At that time, Rosa's son, Roe, was a roomer in the household, and was widowed. In 1935 and 1940, they lived in the same place in Chicago as they did in 1930. Roe Cover was no longer in the household. Rosa was about 3 years older than her husband Joseph.
Her death record states she was to be buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, but records here at South Side indicate she was actually buried here in Pontiac, Illinois. No stone has yet been located, but she is believed to rest near her first husband, Francis Cover.
She and Francis had at least two children, Ila and Roe Cover.
