He was born in White Mills, Pa., Jan 14 1890, the son of Joseph and Anna Vacek Rombousek. On Jan 24 1923 he was married to the former Mary Strasser in White Mills. She died in 1945.
He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, the James C. Bilz Post of the American Legion, the Port Jervis band, the Erie Veterans Association, and the Brotherhood of American Railroad Employes. He was an Army veteran of World War I.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Saturday from the Gray Funeral Home, followed by a Requiem Mass at 10 AM at St. Mary's R.C.Church.
