WHITE OAK — Louise K. Wilborn was born June 26, 1916, in Longview, Texas, to the late William and Ella Anderson. A lifelong member of Center Baptist Church, joining at the age of 11 and was baptized in the creek right below the church that is now White Oak Creek under the pastorate of the late Rev. A.P. Cooksey. Louise taught class #2 in Sunday school for many years and enjoyed the fellowship of her church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, R.C. Wilborn; and her beloved daughter, Lanell Wilborn-Smith. Survivors include her sons, Dale (Betty) Anderson, Dallas, Texas, Bobby (Alberta) Anderson, White Oak, Texas, and Wenford (Sarah) Wilborn, White Oak, Texas; sister, Monteen Anderson, Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Darrell (Corrine) Anderson, Duren (Jonna) Anderson, Joyce Davis, Bervick Anderson, Clifford (Renecia) Anderson, Kevin Anderson, Sherry (Ronald) Duffie, Chanell (Earnest) Carter, Lesly (Tracie) Smith Jr., Wendy (Christopher) Shelton and Ryan (Lana) Wilborn; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends. Her presence will be greatly missed and she will always be remembered for her love and dedication to her family and her unmistakable wit and humor. Our hearts are broken this day but God's kingdom is enhanced. Services will be 2 p.m. today, October 12, 2013, at Center Baptist Church, 309 Walnut St., White Oak, Texas, with the Rev. W. Scott Pannell, pastor and officiant. Burial will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Dearion & Davis Funeral Parlor, Gladewater, Texas.
